Pictures of Wildflowers in Washington State
Peter James often says that Nature is the greatest artist. And in the case of wildflowers, that's hard to deny. It's as if each wildflower field was carefully planted and tended by a master gardener who perfected their technique over thousands of years. Yes, Mother Nature is the original master gardener. And Peter does his best to do her justice, capturing wildflower photos that accent the vibrant colors and textures of these tiny works of art. The majority of the wildflower photos in his collection are alpine wildflowers which bloom in late-July and early-August. Such a short growing season requires may years of experience and exploration to know just where to be at what time. Yearly variations in timing make taking photos of wildflowers even more challenging, but also rewarding when Peter finally gets the perfect shot.
