Fine Art Mountain Photography that Inspires the Soul
 
I captured this wildflower mountain photography wall art print on the Ptarmigan Ridge Trail near Mount Baker in late August 2018. The majority of the trail is open talus (rock) fields with little vegetation. This spot has a little creek flowing through it which creates this showy burst of wildflowers, making it a perfect fine art mountain photography location. 
 
However, this spot was only 2 miles in on the 5-mile trail that we hiked to the end of, before deciding that this was the best place to be to create sunset mountain photography landscape art prints. That meant hurrying back the 3 miles in less than an hour, and we ended up running the last mile to get there before the sun went down. This was not easy in heavy hiking boots, and carrying 20 pounds of camera gear plus my day pack. But in the end, it was all worth it because now I have this glorious wildflower mountain photography art print for sale, and it’s been deeply appreciated by so many in my gallery and in their homes.
