On the last weekend of 2012 I did a winter retreat to Baker Lake. The snowy forest that surrounded me and the vast still lake stretching out for miles was inspiring and refreshing, and the perfect place to create mountain photography art prints and was especially good for fine art photographs of Mount Shuksan which stood snowcapped in the distance.
 
As the last sunset went down on the year, purple and blue colors wrapped the hills and mountains and a final burst of color stretched across textured clouds, lighting them up pink, and creating the amazing amount of depth in this Mt Shuksan photograph.
